Walter (Ike) Watson, 76, of Logansport died at 11:35 a.m. last Friday at Memorial Hospital, Logansport. Born in Cass County Feb. 23, 1897, he was the son of George and Jane Sherman Watson. He was married in Delphi Jan. 24, 1924, to Margaret Farmer. Watson retired in 1963 from Montgomery Ward.

Surviving with his wife are three sons, Tom, Kenneth and John, all of Logansport; three daughters, Mrs. Juanita Emmons and Mrs. Carolyn Fultz, both of Logansport, and Mrs. Mary Jane Powell, Scottsdale: Ariz., one brother, Earl, Burrows; 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchilren He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Services were Monday morning in Logansport, with the Rev. Al Kundenreich officiating. Burial was in Clymers Cemetery.
