Mary Jane Powell, 95, of Logansport, IN, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at McKinney Place in Logansport, IN.

Born on April 28, 1927 in Carroll County, IN, she was a daughter of the late Walter "Ike" and Margaret Jane (Farmer) Watson. On January 5, 1947 in Logansport, IN, Mary married Robert F. Powell, who preceded her in death on May 4, 2020.

Mary retired after 14 years of working at T.M. Morris. She had also worked at R.B.M. (Switches) and Motorola in Arizona. Mary enjoyed quilting, collecting clocks and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are two daughters; one son-in-law; one sister; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by four brothers; one sister; a daughter, Hazel Perdue; a granddaughter, Heather Kahl; and two son-in-laws, Joe Kahl and Richard Preuss.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Gundrum Funeral Home and Crematory with Chaplain Larry Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service on Monday.
