Daughter of John Crocheron Decker and Rebecca Decker, wife of Cornelius Van Buskirk Prall, whom she married on April 29, 1864 in the Richmond Church at Port Richmond, NY, and mother of Lloyd DeForest Prall and Rebecca D. Prall (married Steven A. Deas). Sister of Ann Eliza Decker (married Captain Nicholas J. Wood).

In 1850, Hannah A. Decker, aged 5, was living in Northfield, Richmond, NY, with her father, James C. Decker, aged 45, a boatman, and sister, Ann E. Decker, aged 17, in the home of James Decker, aged 59, a farmer, and his wife, Elizabeth Decker, aged 50, with James W. Decker, aged 17, and Joseph S. Decker, aged 11.

In 1855, Hannah A. Decker, aged 10, was living in Northfield, Richmond, NY, in the home of her father, John C. Decker, aged 45, with her brother-in-law, Nicholas J.
