In memory of John eldest son of George COWAN, Mains of Park, who died 17th May 1867 aged 5 years & 2 months. Also of Agnes TODD, his beloved wife who died 9th Jany 1872 aged 31 yrs. Also of David CHAPMAN his son who died 15th August 1872 aged 2½ years. Also Alfred Alexander his son who died 6th Decr 1872 aged 18 months. Also Robert his son who died in infancy 30th May 1881. Also Thomas his son who died 15th June 1888 aged 23 years. George his son died 14th November 1928 aged 65 years. And his wife Agnes McGAW ANDERSON who died at Bridgemill, Glenluce 21st Feb 1951.
