Mrs. Sue L. Fischer, 59, of 4608 Pierce Dr., Manitowoc, died Wednesday afternoon, June 1, at Holy Family Hospital.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Richard Klingeisen will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.

Mrs. Fischer, the former Sue L. Tyson, was born Sept. 7, 1923, at New Holstein, daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara Tilger Tyson. A lifelong Manitowoc County resident, she attended St. Mary Parochial School Clarks Mills, and was graduated from Valders High School. She was married to William J. Fischer June 21, 1941, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. He preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1982. Mrs. Fischer had been employed as promotion director of mid Cities Mall. She was a member and former president of the Business and Professional Women’s Club and Park Lawn Volunteers.

Survivors include five sons and three daughters-in-law, William and Kay Fischer of Appleton, Lee and Cindy Fischer, Harry and Penny Fischer, Daniel Fischer and Michael Fischer of Manitowoc; seven daughters and five sons-in-law, Grace and Barry Mumper of Hawaii, Carol and Dale Miller of Green Bay, Diane and Donald Thiers of Manitowoc, Janice and Richard Van Eycke of Valders, Miss Linda Fischer, Kathy and Donald de Baere II and Miss Penny Fischer of Manitowoc; a brother, Joseph Tyson of Oshkosh; two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Germaine) Buchner of Glendale, Wis., and Mrs. Merlin (Lillian) Lintner of Gillett, Wis.; a brother-in-law, Robert Kretsch of Manitowoc and 18 grandchildren. A son, Larry, a granddaughter, Lisa, and a sister, Armelia, preceded her in death.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home at 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. led by Father Klingeisen.
