She attended schools in Kansas and graduated from Ogallala High School. She married C. Orville Bruhn on May 7, 1941 in Ogallala. They lived near and in Genoa for many years and in 1963 moved to Columbus. She was employed at Dale Manufacturing in Quality Control and retired after nearly 25 years. Surviving is one daughter, Shirley and two grandchildren.
