Leatrice Carbin Abram, 93, a resident and native of Morgan City, LA, passed away on Monday August 7, 2017 at 2:10 PM at her residence.
Visitation will be observed Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Lee Chapel AME Church 609 Feret Street Morgan City, LA from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM, with Reverend Andrew Sims, Sr., officiating. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Memories of Leatrice will forever remain in the hearts of her three daughters, Edna Mae Clark, Iona Abram Ruffin and Mary Ann Ennis (Walter) all of Morgan City, LA; four grandchildren, Deniesee Robertson, Renita Ruffin Jackson (Durwin Sr.), Stephanie Jenkins (Anderson) and Jerome Keith Ennis and two great-grandchildren, Jasmine Latrice Jackson and Duwrin Jackson, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Leatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Michel Abram; her parents, Sylvester Carbin and Edna Smith Carbin and ten siblings.
