After two months of patient suffering with typhoid fever, Uncle Absalom Robertson quietly passed away, at his home in Dry Hollow, Feb 18, at 9:30 p.m., aged 75 years and 2 months. Deceased was born in Jackson County, Indiana, Dec 18, 1822, where he resided until his removal to this county in the spring of 1890. He was an elder in the Christian Church, of which he had been a member for over half a century. He leaves eight children, only two of whom were with him in his last sickness, and many friends to mourn his loss.
In sorrow here we're left to mourn,
While he above this world of care,
On angel's wings is wafted home,
To dwell with Christ forever there.
