91-year-old Crossville resident, Bernell Blackledge Hatcher, died Saturday evening, June 16, 2007 at Saint Mary's Healthcare Center in Evansville, IN.

Surviving are her husband, Elder Oren Randall Hatcher; four daughters, Joyce Winters, Mary Jane Hatcher, Rowene Coe and Margaret McCormick all of East LeRoy, MI; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Hatcher of Crossville; one son, Gilbert Hatcher of Grayville; 11grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Bernell Blackledge Hatcher will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 20,2007 at the Salem Primitive Baptist Church northwest of Crossville. Burial will be in Little Wabash Cemetery east of Crossville.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home/Kittinger Fair in Carmi.

Bernell Blackledge Hatcher age 91 a longtime resident of Crossville, passed away June 16, 2007 at St. Mary's Healthcare Center in Evansville, In.

She was born August 5, 1915 in Milburn, Iowa the daughter of Oscar and Mollie Blackledge.

At an early age she moved to the Grayville area where she later met and married Oren Randall Hatcher. They recently celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary on May 19th.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed sewing and crafting. She was a life long member of the Salem Primitive Baptist Church in rural Crossville.

She is survived by her husband Elder Oren Randall Hatcher; four daughters and son-in-law, Joyce Winters, Mary Jane Hatcher, Rowene and John Coe, Margaret McCormick of East LeRoy, Mi. and daughter-in-law Brenda Hatcher all of Crossville; one son and daughter-in-law Gilbert and Judy Hatcher of Grayville. grandchildren and spouses, Tommy and Lori Winters, Charlie Coe, Randy and Vicki Coe, Chris and Liz Hatcher, Monty and Jessica Hatcher, Jeff and Norma McCormick, Steven and Mandy McCormick, Scott McCormick, Sherry and David Rafferty, Donna and Jeff Dunn and Kristin Coe. great-grandchildren Spencer and Tanner Coe, Jaise, Daniel and Colin Dunn, Molly Rafferty, Allen, Alex, Jesse, Dalton and Shane McCormick, Zach, Alex and Kelsey Hatcher and Joey and Paula Flores.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Lee Oren Hatcher, infant daughter, Myra Gail Hatcher, grandson, Jimmy Winters and son-in-law Bill McCormick.
