YORK Bernetta May Hildebrand, 92, formerly of Spry, died Sunday morning, June 17, 2007, at Rest Haven Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Elwood Godfrey and the late William Hildebrand. Mrs. Hildebrand was born May 25, 1915, in Dallastown, the daughter of the late Allen and Annie (Warner) Ness. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with the Rev. Russell Clark officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Hildebrand was a member of St. John's Blymires U.C.C. in Dallastown. She had been employed by the former H.L. Neff Cigar Co., in Red Lion and then by the former L&H 5 & 10 in Dallastown for many years. Mrs. Hildebrand is survived by one son, Robert Godfrey of Dallastown; and three grandchildren.
