Julius F. Copploe 79, died Friday evening at Ron Joy Nursing Home. He was born on November 23, 1925 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of Joseph and Josephine Roman Copploe.
Mr. Copploe was a 1946 graduate of East High School. He worked at Youngstown Sheet and Tube (LTV) for 29 years, before retiring in 1978. He was a member of Saint Nicholas Church in Struthers. He leaves his wife, the former Theresa Meek, whom he married September 27, 1947; two daughters, JoAnn (John) Pruce of Youngstown and Linda Copploe of Struthers; a son, Michael (Debbie) Copploe of Boardman; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three sons, Joseph, Frank, and Patrick Copploe; a brother, Vincent Copploe; and a sister, Rose Brincko. Funeral services will be Tuesday 10:30 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers and 11:00AM at Saint Nicholas Church . Friends may call Monday 5-8PM at the funeral home.
