On April 5, 1930, Frances is recorded in the census and living with her daughter Nettie Curtis Lingo and granddaughter Daisy. She passed away nearly three months later on June 30, 1930 at the age of 84 in Macon, Georgia. While her grave is not included in the Find A Grave listing for Fort Hill Cemetery, the death certificate states she is buried there.
