Abram Moore died at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 5, at the home of his son-in-law, N. H. Riseling, near Point, from the effects of a paralytic stroke received one day last week.
Deceased was a son of James Moore and was born December 19, 1832, being in his 77th year at the time of his death. In 1857 he married Miss Mary Blackburn, who died 13 years ago.
Two daughters and three sons survive him: Mrs. N. H. Riseling of near Point, Mrs. William Miller, of Reynoldsdale, Charles Moore of Saxton, George Moore of Bedford Township, and William M. Moore of Helixville. Deceased was respected by all who knew him.
The funeral took place Wednesday morning in the Reformed church at Fishertown, Rev, E. A. G. Hermann conducting the services.
