We spoke of Al Campbell leaving to work in Oklahoma on the bridge gang and now we are sorry to report his funeral last Friday. He tore his hand on a nail a couple of weeks ago and gave it very little attention and blood poison set in and before anyone here knew of it he was a corpse in the Santa Fe hospital at Mulvane. The funeral was well attended and he was laid to rest beside his mother, died a few months ago. Interment was made in the Jordan cemetery.
