Miranda married James Lowe Campbell on December 16, 1852, in St. Clair County, Illinois. James was born March 20, 1832. He had been previously married to Barbara Murray by whom he had one known son. Miranda and James had the following known children:
1. John Henderson Campbell (1853-1931)
2. Henry Campbell (1855-1927)
3. Sarah E. Campbell (1860-1869)
4. Alfred Campbell (1861-1917)
James died September 3, 1904, in Wellington, Sumner County, Kansas. Miranda died October 19, 1916.

Mirandia Wright Campbell Dead
Mirandia Wright was born May 9, 1835 and died Oct. 19, 1916, aged 81 years, 5 months and 19 days. She was married to James L. Campbell on December 18, 1852. To this union there were born four children, John H. Campbell, Henry H. Campbell, Alfred Campbell and Sarah Campbell, who on May 14, 1862 preceded her mother in death. On September 3, 1904 her husband James L. Campbell died. Mrs. Campbell was highly respected and esteemed friend and neighbor and leaves a multitude of friends to mourn her loss.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from the home in Avon township. Interment will take place in the Jordan cemetery.
