Isaac Blystone was the son of Crixon (Christian) Blystone Sr. and Mary (Brookhauser) Blystone. He married Elisabeth Hickernell on August 2, 1825 in Crawford Co., Pennsylvania.

Isaac and Elizabeth had the following eight children:

1. Solomon Blystone (1826~1891)

2. Christian H. Blystone (1829~1913)

3. Frederick A. Blystone (1831~1897) - Gravestone says (1834~1897)

4. John W. Blystone (1833~1930)

5. Henry E. Blystone (1836~1897)

6. Benjamin Franklin Blystone (1837~1864)

7. Simeon M. Blystone (1843~1926)

After the death of his first wife Elisabeth, Isaac married Emma Elizabeth Clute on June 25, 1857 in Crawford Co., PA.

Isaac and Emma had one son:

1. Mark C Blystone (1845~1923)
