Mrs. Amelia Munson, widow of Jonathan Munson, died Saturday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Paul Mercier, following a short illness. Mrs. Munson had been a resident of Port Ewen for 38 years and was a member of the Port Ewen Reformed Church.
She is survived by three sons, Adolph of Port Ewen; Ralston of Hartford, Connecticut; and Leslie of Closter, New Jersey; three daughters, Mrs. William Barkley, Mrs. Paul Mercier and Mrs. Joseph Auringer of Port Ewen; a sister Mrs. Lena Ammon of Dumont, New Jersey; 12 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the home of Mrs. Mercier, Bayard Street, Port Ewen at any time. The funeral will be held from the Port Ewen Reformed Church Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Port Ewen Cemetery.
