Philip M. Lord, 65, dies;
was former VP of Opto 22
Philip M. Lord of Temecula, died Feb. 23 in Murrieta. He was 65.
Born May 2, 1928 in Mosca, Colo., he was the executive vice president of Opto 22 in Temecula for 20 years, prior to retiring in 1990. He was a veteran of the Navy. He had lived in Costa Mesa for 10 years prior to moving to Temecula 5 years ago. He was also a member of the Fallbrook Zion Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Lord; two sons, Ted P. Lord of Novato and Tim R. Lord of Springfield, Va; daughter Kathy S. Lord of Sausalito; three sisters, Shirley Lord of Vista, Cleo Ritz of Cedar Crest, N.M., and Geraldine Loyst of San Jose.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., on Feb. 26, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Fallbrook. Arrangements are under the direction of Berry-Bell & Hall Mortuary.
