Funeral services for Mr. Paul E. Parker will be held at 2 PM Thursday, December 19, 2013 from John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Johnny Ainsworth officiating. Interment will be in East Lawn Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Parker, 88, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and also served in the Army in Korea. He was a body and fender repairman. Mr. Parker was a mason. He enjoyed fishing. He was a Baptist.
Mr. Parker was preceded in death by
his wives, Elsie Parker & Bobbie Parker;
son, Johnny Wayne Parker;
brothers, T.F. Parker & Billy Parker;
sisters, Helen Ainsworth & Mary Burt.
Mr. Parker is survived by
his daughters, Ann Skaggs & her husband, Ron of Morehead, KY & Sheila Weaver of Lebanon, TN;
sons, Robert E. Parker of Union, MS, Donnie Parker of Union, MS & Mike Parker & his wife, Faye of Nashville, TN;
sister, Mildred McCullem of Meridian, MS;
brothers, David Parker of Phila, MS & Jimmy Parker of Phila, MS;
(7) grandchildren;
(11) great-grandchildren;
(4) great-great-grandchildren;
several nieces & nephews.
