Alecha White-Harris, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, who entered into eternal life on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at West Jefferson Hospital. She was the faithful wife of Arthur George Harris. Beloved mother of Monique M. White, Antoine J. White, Jr. and Brandon M. White. Grandmother of Devin C. White and On'Janique M. Smith. She is the daughter of Leola L. White. Sister of Elisha L. White, Cindy M. White and Marcellus D. White. Daughter-in-law of Marlon and Issac Remo. Preceded also in death by father, Alvin Savoy-Kennedy. During her life journey she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She was an active member of Divine Grace Temple of New Orleans, Louisiana, where she served on the usher Board for many years. She also worked for New Orleans Public School Board at Bradley Elementary School as a Food Service Worker. Divine Grace Temple Church Family, New Orleans Parish School Board and friends are invited to attend the service. Her Homegoing Celebration will be held on Monday, June 25, 2007 at Hartzell Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 41040 Hwy. 190 East, Slidell, Louisiana. Interment and Rite Service at Harrison/Jackson Square Cemetery with ascending doves symbolizing the commending of the departing soul.

I met Alecha in 2006, on MySpace. She was such a sweet person. My only regret is that I never had a chance to meet her, Face-to-Face and we were only a few miles away. I know she was a loving and caring person. I will miss her so much. "ALECHA, you are loved so much. God Bless You & May You Have Everlasting Peace".
