Helen Troiano (nee DiTrolio) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at The Chelsea at Warren in Warren, NJ, at the age of 91. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 16th from 4 to 8 PM at Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial 646 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights, NJ. The funeral will be held on Friday, Jan. 17th in the funeral home at 9 AM followed by the Funeral Mass at Church of the Little Church, Plainfield Ave., at 10 AM. Interment at St. Teresa's Cemetery, Summit, NJ. Helen was born and raised in Newark, NJ, she lived in Belleville for 29 years before moving to Berkeley Heights for 15 years and in 2009 she moved to Warren, NJ. Helen was a great cook and the life of the party. She was full of energy, lots of fun and lived with a very optimistic attitude. She was known as the party planner, always willing to throw a party for family and friends. She was a member of the Little Flower Rosary Society and the Berkeley Heights Senior Citizens. Helen was the beloved wife of the late George Troiano. She was pre-deceased by 7 siblings.
