"Akhnaton Majahid Abdul-Haqq "Alonzo Darnell Keys", 47, of Houston, a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend, died January 17, 1998.
He is preceded in death by his father and a son, Zakee.
He is survived by his wife, Nofretete; four daughters; and two sons; his mother, Carolyn Keys, of Marshall; a brother, Mustafa Abdul-Haqq, Claude Mac Phillips, Ronald Keys, Cleveland Keys and Gerald Keys; sisters, Carol Alford and Rosalyn Barther; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 20, 1998, at 10 a.m. at the Houston Masjid of Al-Islam, at 6641 Bellfort, Houston, Texas. Interment was in Forest Lawn Cemetery, at 8701 Almeda-Genoa, Houston, Texas."
