Hazel Davenport Vinson, 89, of Woodbury, passed away at her daughter's home Friday, August 2, 2019. She was born in Cannon Co.

Ms. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Harold Vinson; parents, Percy and Martha Peeler Davenport; daughter, Donna Marie Snell; sisters, Clara Bell Ludlow, Margie DeBerry, Peggy Barnet, Clarice Smith, Denna Campbell and brothers, Clyde, Hagen, Fred and Lemon Davenport.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Woodbury. She was a nurse and homemaker. Ms. Hazel enjoyed gardening, her peacocks but most of all she enjoyed and loved her family.

She is survived by her children; Marlene, Teresa and Joe Vinson all of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Ashleigh Moses, Dustin and Bridget Snell, Molli Kate, Bryant, Seth and Leah Beth Vinson; great grandchildren; Tyler and Ava Moses; Stacie Bryson, Lane Francis, Cullen Bryson, Michael and Trina Koltay

Graveside Services will be 5 pm Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Riverside Cemetery with Bro. Dean Anderson officiating.

Visitation will be from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm Sunday, August 4, 2019. For those wishing to do so donations may be made to First Baptist Church Youth, Woodbury or Southeast Baptist Canada Missions, Murfreesboro.
