Mrs. Bradley was born August 14, 1929 to the late John Daniel Pike and late Helen Griffin Connelly. She graduated from Winthrop College in 1950 and married the late Parmer T. Bradley on May 20, 1951. They moved to Aiken, SC in the early 1950's as part of the original SRP settlement. She soon after started her career with the Aiken County Public School System as a librarian. She taught at Graniteville High, Aiken High, and South Aiken High Schools. Mrs. Bradley had a life-long passion for reading and always had a book in her hands. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Mrs. Bradley was a member of Aiken's First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Pattie Wheeler (Jonathan), Lexington, SC and Charlotte Bradley, Columbia, SC and two grandchildren, Helen Marie Wheeler Scott (Peter) and Andrew Wheeler.
