Mr. Hyink was born at Bozeman, Montana and came to the Moxee district in 1920. He farmed there and for many years was sexton of the Holland Cemetery. He was a long time active member of the Reformed Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jessie Hyink; two sons, Lawrence of Seattle, and Bernard of Yakima; two brothers, Joe Hyink of Holland, Michigan, and Robert Hyink of San Francisco; three sisters, Miss Esther Hyink and Mrs. Nettie Lindgren both of Bozeman, and Mrs. Ruth Droppers of VanHaven, Michigan, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 6th at 10:30 a.m. in the Keith & Keith Chapel, Rev. Raymond J. Teusink, pastor of the First Reformed Church officiating. Interment will be in Old Holland cemetery. Bearers will be Gene Assink, Gordon Assink, Harry Boersma, Erle Huibregtse, Mel Huibregtse and Irwin Schut. The family suggests, if desired, memorials may be made to the Lazy Mountain Children's Home, Palmer, Alaska, or to the donors favorite charity.
