Born in Hocking County, he was the son of Clyde Sr., and Jeretha Davis Yancy, McArthur Route 1. He was an employee of Benedict Coal Co. and a member of the McArthur Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He is survived by a sister, Linda Davis, McArthur; two half-brothers, Jerry Peel, McArthur, and William, Virginia Beach, Va.; and a half-sister, Sue Walton, Steubenville.
Services will be Thursday, 11 a.m., at the James N. Blower Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Fairmont Cemetery, Jackson. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
