Dr. Elisha Orme Mannakee was the son of John Scrivener Mannakee and Elizabeth Ann Orme. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Louisville, KY. A Quaker, he married Mary Anna Haines at the Pipe Creek Meeting in 1873.
