LOWER SALEM - Bryan Lee, 90, of Lower Salem Rt. 1, Harriettsville community, died at 8:50 a.m. Monday, Feb. 29, in his home after and extended illness.
He was born September 12, 1897, at Harriettsville to Charles H. and Mary Antill Lee. He was a retired employee of the Ohio State highway department at Marietta and was a memdber of Harriettsville United Methodist Church. He was a former member of Odd Fellows Lodge at Harriettsville.
He is survived by his wife Opal Day Lee whom he married April 5, 1922; one son John W. of Lower Salem Rt. 1; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. He is preceeded by one son, Robert E.; one daughter Virginia Luke; and one sister Lottie McConnell.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Watters Funeral Home at Woodsfield, with Rev. Bruce Kent of Harriettsville United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Stafford Cemetery at Stafford. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
