Kelly was the daughter of the late John Clifton and Kay Elizabeth Low Gable. She graduated from Meridian High School, Class of 1986. She also graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work. she worked for the Region III Chemical Dependency Center in Tupelo. She was a Catholic. She thoroughly loved and enjoyed her animals and going to the beach, She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, granddaughter, niece, and friend.

In addition to her parents, Kelly was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Fletcher and Mary Lea Duke Low.

Graveside services were Sunday, August 18, 2019 at 2 P.M. from Greenwood Cemetery in West Point with the Rev. Owen Hitchcock officiating. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Claire Conway West (Bailey) of Springville, AL; two grandchildren, Everett and Evelyn West, both of Springville, AL; maternal grandmother, Alice Low of Wilmot, AR; four aunts, Sandra McGaugh of Greenville, Judy Cannon (James) of Greensboro, AL, Penny Crowson of Tupelo, and Mary Otwell (Steve) of Wilmot, AR; and her uncle, Ronnie Kersh of Wilmot, AR.
