She died on October 28, 1952, at her home at 202 West Adams Street in Fairfield. She had suffered a stroke on February 7, 1952, while visiting her son in Glendale, California, and had been in poor health since.
Minnie was a member of the Christian Church. Her funeral was at the Hoskins Funeral Home with the Rev. S.P. Williamson officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery. She was survived by her husband; her son Frank of Glendale, California; a grandson; her brother Howard M. Hockett of Palm Beach, Florida; and her sister Mrs. Jesse J. Frary of Greeley, Colorado.
