Floyd Taylor, 59, a retired home building contractor, of 1795 Hamilton Blvd. in Jackson died Saturday at the VA Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday from Wright & Ferguson Chapel with interment in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Roy Taylor of Yazoo City; his wife, the former Lucy Dent Dickard of Lexington; two daughters, Mrs. L. Kent (Jan) Keary, Miss Pam Taylor both of Jackson; one son, Robert Floyd Taylor, Jr., of Jackson; one sister, Mrs. Doris Caperton of Yazoo City; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Herbert Robertson, Brooks Robertson, Bill Herring, Mills Heard, Jr., Jones Robertson, and Bob Bailey.
