Mr. Curtis was retired from Arkansas Army Air National Guard and was a helicopter mechanic for Hospital Wing. He was also a member and deacon of the Bethabara Baptist Church. David enjoyed a very fulfilling life, fishing, restoring old motorcycles, flying and helicopter maintenance, but most of all he enjoyed serving and honoring his Lord.
Preceding him in death were his parents; God Grandson, Little Pal, Slade Gilley
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Betty Jo Curtis; son, David Brad (Shea) Curtis; brother, Randell (Carol) Curtis; sister, Naomi (Tom) Ware; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held at Roller-Farmers Union chapel. Committal was in Lower Cane Island Cemetery.
