Bossier City, LA – Funeral services for Irene Osbon will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 13, 2019 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Gordon Illasky. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service Friday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Irene was born August 16, 1928 in Gottenhein, Germany and passed away September 10, 2019 in Bossier City, LA. A former resident of Sulphur Springs, TX, she was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church there. Also she was a member of the German Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Franklin Osbon; parents, Edward and Augusta Ehrhardt and sister, Renate Ross.
Irene is survived by her son, James Osbon and wife, Elaine of Haughton, LA; daughters, Peggy Magill and husband, Charles of Springdale, AR, Angie Osbon and partner, Shirley McDowell of Broaddus, TX; grandchildren, Chad Osbon and wife, Lisa, Kevin Osbon, Charlie Magill wife Lynette and seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Honoring Irene as pallbearers will be family members.
