Barbara Hoover, age 67, passed away on October 26, 2016.
Barbara loved arts & crafts. Barbara loved to dance. Barbara was naturally affectionate to all and loving to all especially her nieces and nephews. Barbara enjoyed participating at the Rio Arriba Senior Center and loved playing Bingo.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Patricio and Rose V. Hoover, sister, Ann Rodríguez, brothers, Peter Hoover and Raymond Hoover and nephews, Robert "Bobby" López, Michael J. López and Albert Rodríquez.
Barbara is survived by her sisters, Frances M. Hoover, Patsy Ginder and her husband, Robert and JoAnn Márquez and her husband, Richard, one special great-nephew, Jordan Hoover and many nieces and nephews.
Barbara will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
A Rosary will be prayed on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Española. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Española. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James López, Raymond Anthony López, Michael Márquez, José Atencio, Richard Márquez, Elaine Medina, Cory Hoover and Juan Rivera Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeremy Atencio, Jordan Hoover, Angela Medina, Randall Chávez, Louie Rodríquez and Jacqueline Hoover.
