Barney Hook Dies At 94 GLOUSTER—Barney Hook, 94, of 20 Front St., died Sun day in Mount St. Mary Hospital, Nelsonville, following a long illness. Born in Vinton County, he was a son of Abraham and Mariah Hook. He was a retired coal miner and spent most of his life in Glouster and vicinity. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Shumway, Glouster; two sons, Leonard of Somerset Route I, and Orlando of Glouster; eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted Tuesday, 2 p.m., in the Wiley funeral home with the Rev. Ernest Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at anytime.
