Mrs. Emilie Adam
Mrs. Emilie Adam, 92, widow of the late August Adam, 1403 Kentucky avenue, passed away at 9:00 a.m. Friday at the Sheboygan Memorial hospital, after a lingering illness.
She was born on March 17, 1852, in Germany. She came to Sheboygan in 1873 and in 1875 was married to August Adam. The couple resided in this city since their marriage.
Among the survivors are a son, Emil, two daughters, Mrs. Otto Schultz and Mrs. John Kasabuske, 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Her husband and five children preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock on Monday afternoon at the Steffen Funeral chapel, the Rev. Ed Krause officiating. Burial will be made in the Lutheran cemetery.

Emilie Schmidt immigrated to America on May 5, 1873, arriving at the port of New York on the ship named Nevada. She came with her sister and brother-in-law, Fred and Friedericke (Schmidt) Rust and her brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Friedericke (Stoll) Schmidt.
