The Independent-Herald, Hinton, West Virginia; Thursday, January 27, 1910, page 6; From Monday's Daily: Walter Clark, a prominent young merchant of Bluefield, but late of this county, died at his home at Bluefield yesterday of typhoid fever, aged about 35 years.
After funeral services from the home of his father, A T Clark, Esq, of Mercer Salt Works, tomorrow, the remains will be tenderly laid in their final resting place in the family cemetery, nearby. Mr Clark leaves a young wife, who was Miss Nora Carden, of this county, sister of B Z Carden, of the First National Bank, and two little children to mourn their loss.
Deceased was a young man of exalted character and was held in high esteem by all who knew him. His host of friends learn with sorrow of his death and unite with this paper in extending condolences to the bereaved family.
