Scott Clark, about 20 years of age, son of Mr and Mrs A T Clark, of Mercer Salt Works, died at Bluefield, Sunday night of typhoid fever. Mr Clark went to Bluefield about five weeks ago, having accepted a position in McCulloch's dry goods store. About a week after he arrived there he became ill with typhoid fever and after suffering for four weeks died Sunday night. The remains were brought to his old home at Mercer Salt Works yesterday, and today they were laid to rest in the family burial ground near there.
