He was a son of Abram and Mrs. Jannie Morgan and was born in Plymouth, N.C. He lived in Norfolk 50 years and was a long-shoreman.
He was a former member of the House of Prayer for all People.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Eva Morgan; one daughter, Mrs. Eva Tillie of New York and two sisters, Mrs. Dillie Williams of Hackensack, N.J., and Mrs. Rosetta Chassell of Norfolk.
The body was taken to Citizens Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Richard A. Councill, pastor of Metropolitan A.M.E. Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
