Eleanor "Ellie" Green Wise, 92, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 9, 2019 at her residence.
She was born March 14, 1927 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Otis H. Green and the late Mabel (Barnett) Green.
Eleanor was a homemaker and was a former member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church. She loved travel and the arts.
She is survived by her son and his wife, two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Wise Jr. whom she married on October 20, 1951 and passed away on January 10, 1996, her daughter, Amy W. Wise who passed away on November 11, 2014, and her brother, Paul B. Green from Stanford, CA.
A celebration of Eleanor's life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
A private burial will take place in the North Side Cemetery.
