Beryl Raymond Pelt, 75, of Fayetteville, Georgia, died December 31, 2009. Mr. Pelt was the son of the late Robert Frederick Pelt (1901-1973) and Ruby Arlene Knight (1909-1999). He served for 10 years in the United States Air Force. He worked as an aircraft mechanic for 23 years with Eastern Airlines, followed by 8 years at Lockheed. He loved to garden, sharing the fruits of his labors with friends and family. He was also an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patsy K. Pelt of Fayetteville; daughter, Allison Kay (Lin) Aultman of Fayetteville; son, John Stuart (Jody) Pelt of Locust Grove; five grandchildren, Jonathan Paul & Holly Diane Aultman of Peachtree City, Aryn Nicole Aultman of Fayetteville, Kayley Elizabeth Pelt of Locust Grove, Sydney Rae Pelt of Locust Grove, Josh Avery Pelt of Locust Grove; two sisters, Josie Cadwell and Fran Lavender, both of Leesburg, Florida; twin brother, Earl (Jean) Pelt of Leesburg, FL; brother, James (Patsy) Pelt of DeLand, FL; sister-in-law, Peggie Pelt of Leesburg, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The body was cremated after visitation on Monday, January 4, 2010 at Carl J Mowell & Son, Fayetteville.
