May E. (Diehl) Bernd, 88, of York, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at 3:43 p.m. at the York Hospital. She was the wife of Richard F. Bernd, with whom she celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary February 22, 2007.
Mrs. Bernd was born December 7, 1918 in York, the daughter of the late Murray E. and Mary E. (Shetter) Diehl. Mrs. Bernd was a homemaker. She was a graduate of William Penn High School.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Bernd is survived by one daughter, Marcia M. Bernd of York.
Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.
