Dorothy B. Allen, 83, of Madison, passed away Tuesday.
She was preceded in death by mother, Mabel Rogers Blakely, father, Allen Blakely, brother, Ray Blakely, sister, Frances Blakely Frederick.
She survived by her husband of 65 years, Jesse B Allen, son, Michael Wayne Allen and wife Kelly, daughter, Patricia Allen Gore, grandchildren, Kimberly Allen Brown and husband Conrad, and Derek Allen Gore, great granddaughters, Addilynn Shay Brown, and Skylar Ann Brown, sisters, Doris Blakely Jones, and Lois Blakely Brannon, brothers, John Blakely, and Frank Blakely, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cornerstone Word of Life Church, 3783 Sullivan St, Madison, AL 35758. Services will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Mark Garver officiating.
Interment will be Friday at 1pm at Taylor Cemetery in Guntersville, AL.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, please make memorial donations to Shirners Hospital for Children or Cornerstone Word of Life Youth Program.
