Letitia was the daughter of Bernard and Ann Jane (Rice) McGee. Letitia was born in Down & Connor, Drumaul, Antrim, Ireland. She went to Scotland as a young woman to find work as a seamstress & embroiderer. She married Vincent McCambridge 27 Jul 1868 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Glasgow, Scotland. Together they immigrated with four children to the United States in 1879. They resided in Pine Township, Montcalm County, Michigan. There Letitia and her husband farmed. He was also said to continue as a ship's carpenter on the Great Lakes. Letitia died from influenza and is buried in Maple Valley Catholic Cemetery, Coral, Michigan.

Letitia & Vincent followed her parents and two sisters to Michigan. Bernard & Ann Jane Rice are buried on the front lawn of the homestead).
