Judy Kathryn Lane, age 75, was reared in Atoka, OK, spent 3 years in California and then returned and spent 54 years with Max back in Atoka, OK, was born on Monday, February 21, 1944, to Sam Houston and Mary Kathrine (Wise) Burke, at Atoka, OK. Judy passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Atoka, OK. She graduated from Atoka High School and then attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Judy was a secretary at Atoka First Baptist Church and for KHKC Radio, worked at First National Bank for 8 years. She married Max Edward Lane on Monday, August 29th, 1960 at Atoka, OK. They have enjoyed 59 years together. Judy was a member and secretary at Atoka First Baptist Church, taught Sunday School, was a singer in the Sonlight Singing Group and also attended Cornerstone Church. She sold Mary Kay products, enjoyed Facebook and loved politics and most of all, loved her two daughters and grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her husband, Max Edward Lane of the home in Atoka, OK; daughters, Amber Gammon and husband Troy Jr. of Bentley, OK, Ashley Givens and husband Tommy of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Hunter Lane Gammon and Hannah Beth Gammon; sister, Carolyn Lillard and husband Richard of Atoka, OK; brother, Rickey Burke and wife Peggy of Decatur, AR; very special friends, Terry Sanders of Ada, OK, Carolyn McCaslin of Owasso, OK; uncles, Roy Burke and wife Bonnie of Arroyo Grande, CA, Buster Burke and wife Pat of Sun Valley, AZ; aunts, Dee Burke, Maridell Powell of Durant, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Sam Houston and Mary Kathrine (Wise) Burke; brother, Sammy Burke; nephew, Garick Burke.
