Services were held Tuesday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, Anderson, for Joseph K. "Joe" Manzenberger, 87, Middletown, who died Aug. 20 at Miller's Merry Manor in Middletown. Pastor Dennis Zirkle officiated and burial was in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Born in Bedford, he was the son of John and Zella (Williams) Manzenberger. He married Gale Watson and she preceded him in death.

He retired in 1978 after 37 years with Delco Remy Division of General Motors Dept. 1191, where he was a tool grinder. He was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church, Anderson, and Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge No. 77 F&AM.

Surviving are one son, Neil W. Manzenberger of Columbus; seven sisters: Helen Reuter, Catherine Covey, Angie Sego, Mildred Deckard, Luella Clampitt and Alpha Mae McKnight, all of Bedford, and Mary Jane Moses of Nashville; one brother, Frank Manzenberger of Bedford; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
