Agnes McKenna McCarthy, age 99 of North Huntingdon, died Saturday, December 18, 2004, at her home.
Born in Pittsburgh, February 17, 1905, a daughter of the late Charles and Anna McGurk McKenna.
She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas McCarthy; daughter, Kathleen McGrath; sons, Douglas McCarthy, Jr. and Regis Edward McCarthy; brothers, Charles McKenna and Regis McKenna; sisters, Mae Scully, Catherine Bittner, Harriet Ventrone, Anna Voytowich and Eleanor Sherych and a grandson, Michael Hohman.
She is survived by her loving daughter Rita Hohman and her husband Leo of North Huntingdon; daughter-in-law, Rita McCarthy; eight grandchildren, Darlene Zuk, Mary Ann Beardsley, Donald Hohman, William Robinson, Charles McGrath, Douglass McCarthy, Carol Shelpman, Linda Azman; several great-grandchildren and several great-great- grandchildren.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Joseph F. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Oak Street at Irwin. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of The Immaculate Conception.
Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
