Mrs. Annie Parker, a life long resident of Brockroad, Spotsylvania County, died Monday morning, April 11 at 9 o'clock at the home of her son, F. Lee Parker.
Mrs. Parker had been in failing health for some time and her death, while a shock to her many friends, was not unexpected.
She was in her 95th year and was a member of Wilderness church.
She is survived by one son, F. Lee Parker, and one brother, J. T. Haney.
The funeral services were held at the family burying ground Wednesday April 13, at one o'clock.
Mrs. Parker was one of the best known residents of Spotsylvania. Up to her death she was keenly interested in the things about her and in perfect possession of her faculties.
