Son of Jacob AldrichThis is Jacob-5 (Jacob-4, Jacob-3, Peter-2, George-1) Aldrich, son of Jacob-4 and Mary (Sandiforth) Aldrich. Jacob was baptized Feb 9, 1755 in Mattituck Parish. He married Nov 21, 1782, Mary Owen, daughter of James and Mary (Paine) Owen of Wading River. They had three children: Mary 1783, Jacob 1787, and James Owen 1789. Then, Mary died on Jul 31, 1800, when the children were aged 11-17. Jacob married, second, Jemima Cleaves on Feb 3, 1801 in Mattituck Parish, and had Harriet 1803 (md David B. Hallock). Jacob died in 1840, and Jemima followed one year later, in 1841.
