Eugene Angelotti | Funeral services for Eugene Angelotti, 300 East "A" Street, Girardville, were held from the McDonald Funeral Home, Girardville. High Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Joseph's Church by Rev. Edward Garrity. Father Garrity also conducted committal rites at the cemetery. The Sons of Italy Lodge held services Sunday night. Pallbearers were Eugene Angelloti, Thomas Angelotti, Joseph Farnitano, Samuel Zangari, Jr., William Paulosky, and Edward Finlan. Internment was in the parish cemetery in Fountain Springs. M. J. McDonald and Son had charge.

Eugene Angelotti, 300 East A Street, Girardville, died Friday at Ashland Hospital. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church and the Sons of Italy Lodge in Girardville. His wife preceded him in death. Surviving are a daughter, Mary, wife of John Chernick, Girardville; a son, Joseph, of Hershey; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral Monday morning from the McDonald Funeral Home, Girardville, Requiem Mass in St. Joseph's Church with interment in the parish cemetery in Fountain Springs.
According to Ellis Island Passenger Records, Eugenio Angelotti arrived at Ellis Island on March 15, 1910, on the "Roma" out of Naples, Italy, and listed his residence as Leonessa, Italy. He was married to Virginia Marcoccia on 9 Nov 1912 in Shenandoah, PA. She died in 1931 and is buried at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Shenandoah Heights. Eugenio (Eugene) Angelotti was a coal miner and later worked for the Hershey Company in Hershey, PA.
